Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ Round Up Saturday 3rd March 2018
On Monday 26th February there was one Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ 3rdxv Plate Quarter-Final game played when Campbell College, Belfast 4thxv hosted Carndonagh Community College in a closely contested game the Campbell College team won by 27-24.
On Tuesday 27th February the Royal Belfast Academical Institution Colt’s xv hosted Enniskillen Royal Grammar School 3rdxv in the first of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ 3rdxv Cup semi-finals. The Royal Belfast Academical Institution team won the game by 32-5 and now await the outcome of the second Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ 3rdxv Cup Semi-Final featuring Methodist College, Belfast 3rdxv v Methodist College, Belfast 4thxv.
On Wednesday 28th February the Final of the Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ Bowl competition was scheduled to take place at Campbell College, Belfast when Belfast Royal Academy and Portadown College were scheduled to contest the game. Unfortunately, the game had to be postponed due to the unfavourable weather conditions.
There were two Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ 3rdxv Plate games scheduled to be played on Wednesday 28th February. However, both the Ballymena Academy 3rdxv v Bangor Grammar School 3rdxv in the quarter-final game and the Sullivan Upper School 3rdxv v Royal School, Dungannon 3rdxv in the first of the semi-final games were postponed. These Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ 3rdxv Plate games have been re-scheduled for Wednesday 7th March.
On Saturday 3rd March there were two Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ Subsidiary Shield Semi-Final games scheduled to be played. These fixtures were impacted upon by the prevailing weather conditions and have been re-scheduled as follows 🙂
Dalriada School v Ballyclare High School Wednesday 7th March
Down High School v Coleraine Grammar School Wednesday 7th March
In the Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ Cup there has been a re-scheduling of one of the semi-final games.
The first of the semi-final games, featuring Royal Belfast Academical Institution and Royal School, Armagh, has been put back until Wednesday 7th March at 2-30pm.
The Campbell College, Belfast v Methodist College, Belfast game is still scheduled to take place on Tuesday 6th March at 2-30pm.
Both these Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ Cup Semi-Final games are due to be played at the Kingspan Stadium.
The Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ Bowl Final will take place at Campbell College, Belfast on Thursday 8th March when Belfast Royal Academy will play Portadown College in a game scheduled to kick off at 2-30pm.
The Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ 2ndxv Cup Final will take place at the Shaw’s Bridge Sports Complex on Thursday 8th March when Royal Belfast Academical Institution 2ndxv will play Methodist College, Belfast 2ndxv at 3-30pm.
The Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ Medallion Plate Final will take place at Belfast Harlequin’s RFC on Thursday 8th March when Sullivan Upper School Medallion team will play the Royal School, Armagh Medallion team at 2-30pm.
