Hemp Eyewear and MVMNT continue to build their presences as part of the future of sustainable fashion.

This care and precision is evident as their watches are more than just a pretty face; they are pushing the boundaries within sustainable materials and modular design.
The next big project for the team at Hemp Eyewear will be their coloured collections. Each collection will have its own unique theme centred on the bright pigments of; Beetroot, Phycocyanin, Chlorophyll and Turmeric. Nose & Ear Hair Scissors
The Nose & Ear Hair Scissors are perfect for trimming wayward hairs. The rounded tip help to avoid any accidents especially if you are not the best at trimming areas like nostrils, which can be a bit tricky to see at some angles. I would recommend only trimming hairs that stick out and are unkempt. Only aim to trim the hair that you can see facing a mirror and not those that are internal. Avoid trimming too far into the nostrils and ear canals as hair in those areas do serve a role in keeping germs and dust out.
Moustache & Beard Scissors
Men’s facial hair tends to be thicker and coarse than hair on other parts of the body which is completely natural and normal. Often times regular or beauty scissors don’t get a precise or clean cut and can get blunt after a couple of uses. These are designed for trimming facial hair and keeping each cut clean and precise after every use. The fine pointed tip allows for minute sculpting of moustaches and beards. Just don’t store them in or near water and make sure to wipe down after every use and keep in a dry area.
Nail Pliers
These are a really handy and versatile tool to have to hand. If you find the angle of nail clippers to be tricky then try Nail Pliers as they can be held at an easier angle and cut the toe nails with ease. Live coverage of The British & Irish Lions will return to terrestrial television for the first time in nearly 30 years with Channel 4’s broadcast of the -Vodafone Lions 1888 Cup against Japan.
In addition to live coverage of the pre-Tour Test match against Japan from BT Murrayfield on 26 June, Channel 4 will also show highlights of all three Tests against South Africa.
This will be the first time the Lions have been on terrestrial television since the 1993 Tour of New Zealand and highlights of all Castle Lager Lions Series Tour matches will be shown on All4.
It’s the latest coup from Channel 4 Sport which earlier this year brought free-to-air live Test cricket back to television screens after a 16-year break with its coverage of England’s our in India.
British & Irish Lions Managing Director Ben Calveley said: “We are delighted that Channel 4 are our broadcast partners for our first match on home soil since 2005.

The Daddy of All Rums for Dad This Father’s Day
With Father’s Day just around the corner and this year set to be a big one, Goslings luxurious Papa Seal rum has been launched in the UK for the first time in Masters of Malt and The Whisky Exchange.
First released in 2018, only 7,200 bottles have ever been produced, as production of this special rum is limited to only 12 barrels a year with each barrel providing around 200 bottles. Every bottle is hand labelled one barrel at a time and then sent to selected locations around the world.
In 2018, barrel number one was enjoyed in Bermuda with the additional 11 being shipped to private clients in the US. In 2019, the barrels were distributed in Bermuda and Canada and in 2020, the special barrels have been sent to Bermuda, US, Europe and for the first time – the UK.
The limited-edition Papa Seal available for consumers to buy for the first time in the UK is the 2020 vintage and comes in a special gift box priced at around £129.95.
With an abv of 41.5%, each bottle features the barrel number, bottle number and bottling date hand-written on its label, and all bottles come in a stylish box, complete with a slide-out tray, open view window and satin finish foil label.
Goslings Papa Seal
The ‘Father of All Rums’, Papa Seal is an ultra-premium rum blended from pot and column distilled rums ranging between 10 and 21 years that are aged in hand selected, once-used bourbon barrels with medium char. Each Papa Seal blend is then married in American White Oak and aged for an additional two years in Bermuda’s humid, salty air.

About Goslings Rum
In 1806, Englishman James Goslings set sail on The Mercury bound for America with £10,000 worth of goods. Due to becalmed seas, the ship’s charter expired and James put in at the nearest British port: St. George’s, Bermuda. Identifying the opportunity to sell wines and spirits on the island, James decided to set up shop in Bermuda and the Gosling family has been there ever since.
In the 1850s, after much experimental blending, a distinctive black rum was offered for sale. Smooth and flavourful, at first it was simply called “Old Rum” and until the First World War, it was sold straight from the barrel. Eventually, Old Rum was sold in Champagne bottles reclaimed from the British Officer’s Mess, with corks ‘sealed’ in black wax. Hence the name, “Black Seal Rum”.
Goslings is Bermuda’s oldest business and is currently run by the seventh generation of the Gosling family. Goslings Rums are Bermuda’s number one export.

Portable Device Helps Families Become First Responders
After a personal incident involving the tragic and sudden loss of his friend’s young son, Rithem President and Co-Founder Yehuda Roseman was inspired to form Rithem Life Sciences and develop affordable, life-saving, portable products designed to assist anyone in responding to a sudden cardiac arrest event. From parents to their children, Roseman who is hoping to help create a growing number of first responders.
Six million people worldwide die every year due to Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), with 68% of these events occurring in the home. Many of the victims of SCA have no prior history of heart disease. And while many people have a basic concept of how to perform Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), they may fail to act due to the stress of the event or uncertainty in how to act, or due to not understanding how to perform CPR correctly.
Further complicating matters, and adding to the stress of potential at-home SCAs, is the COVID-19 pandemic. A recent study published in the December 2020 issue of Resuscitation Plus found that people are less likely to give life-saving CPR during the pandemic because of fears they may catch the infection.
The good news is, there is an affordable solution. Developed by the Wilmington-DE-based medical device company Rithem Life Sciences, theResQR ($25) is a portable, handheld CPR aid that is ergonomically designed with advanced features including a placement indicator and metronome and LED light guidance to ensure proper positioning of the hands during chest compressions. This allows for the equal spreading of force across the wider surface area of the sternum to reduce the risk of fractures.It is also equipped with a compression pacing system and built-in modesty and personal protection equipment to avoid unnecessarily exposing the recipient’s chest.

Intervention must be initiated within 2 to 4 minutes, but emergency services generally take from 6 to 12 minutes to arrive. The fact is that only eight percent of people who suffer an SCA outside a hospital setting survive. Rithem recognized the urgent necessity to develop easy-to-use, practical, at-home devices to fill this gap in healthcare.
– Emergent treatment of SCA requires a combination of CPR and automatic external defibrillation (AED) to be delivered within two to four minutes to avoid loss of life. CPR can maintain adequate blood pressure and encourage the heart to resume a normal rhythm. AED corrects the electrical impulses that have caused the heart to spasm and be unable to deliver blood flow to the body.
– Research reveals that with the application of a combination of CPR and AED performed immediately, about 50 percent of victims survive, compared to the current 8 percent rate of survival.
– Research reveals after querying the public as to why women receive less-bystander CPR than men, there were differences in response based on the sex of the rescuer. Participants reported that a male rescuer would potentially be hindered by fears of accusation of sexual assault/harassment or inappropriate touch, while female rescuers would be more deterred due to fears of causing physical injury or harm.
– People are less likely to give life-saving CPR during the Covid-19 pandemic because of fears they may catch the infection. Researchers asked 1,360 people in 26 countries whether or not they would be willing to intervene if someone was having a cardiac arrest in public. Compared to before the Covid-19 era, 20 per cent fewer people would give mouth-to-mouth to a stranger, if they weren’t breathing. And 14 percent fewer claimed they would give chest compressions, which could be the difference between life and death.

May 2021 – A foodie experience like no other with purpose at its heart and fire in its belly, At Home Farm will host ‘Woodfired & Friends’- long table alfresco dining experiences created by Chef and fire cookery expert Ben Quinn in partnership with some of London’s top Chefs. Each evening during the residency which takes place 22 – 24 June, a unique menu will be co-designed by a renowned Chef to create a one-of-a-kind feast offering a very special way to celebrate the lifting of restrictions.
The Woodfired Canteen residency will open with Ben Quinn in collaboration with cook, writer, BBC MasterChef winner and restaurateur Thomasina Miers OBE who will be designing and cooking a unique 3-course alfresco feast combining her passion for Mexican flavours from one of her favourite places in the world, Oaxaca, with the beauty and simplicity of fire cookery.
Fresh from 2021’s Great British Menu’s Central heat, AllBright Mayfair’s former Consultant Executive Chef Sabrina Gidda will be cooking up a feast inspired by her Punjabi heritage, British upbringing and love of eclectic global cuisine which marries together beautifully on the fire. Sabrina explains; “I am so thrilled to be a part of this year’s Woodfired & Friends line-up. Ben and the team are creating something super special – and I can’t wait to cook up a storm for the feast. I cannot think of a better way to spend an evening than with friends and family and a beautiful feast!”
Rounding off the residency will be a celebration of Middle Eastern flavours with Honey & Co’s husband and wife team Sarit Packer and Itamar Srulovich whose latest cookery book Chasing Smoke is out 13 May and explores cooking over fire. FEASTING IN THE WILD AT HOME FARM

May 2021 – A foodie experience like no other with purpose at its heart and fire in its belly, At Home Farm will host ‘Woodfired & Friends’- long table alfresco dining experiences created by Chef and fire cookery expert Ben Quinn in partnership with some of London’s top Chefs. Each evening during the residency which takes place 22 – 24 June, a unique menu will be co-designed by a renowned Chef to create a one-of-a-kind feast offering a very special way to celebrate the lifting of restrictions.
The Woodfired Canteen residency will open with Ben Quinn in collaboration with cook, writer, BBC MasterChef winner and restaurateur Thomasina Miers OBE who will be designing and cooking a unique 3-course alfresco feast combining her passion for Mexican flavours from one of her favourite places in the world, Oaxaca, with the beauty and simplicity of fire cookery.
Fresh from 2021’s Great British Menu’s Central heat, AllBright Mayfair’s former Consultant Executive Chef Sabrina Gidda will be cooking up a feast inspired by her Punjabi heritage, British upbringing and love of eclectic global cuisine which marries together beautifully on the fire. Sabrina explains; “I am so thrilled to be a part of this year’s Woodfired & Friends line-up. Ben and the team are creating something super special – and I can’t wait to cook up a storm for the feast. I cannot think of a better way to spend an evening than with friends and family and a beautiful feast!”
Rounding off the residency will be a celebration of Middle Eastern flavours with Honey & Co’s husband and wife team Sarit Packer and Itamar Srulovich whose latest cookery book Chasing Smoke is out 13 May and explores cooking over fire. Having grown up surrounded by the rich food culture of Israel and Jerusalem, with a career history spanning several years at Ottolenghi, OXO Tower and NOPI between them, this feast promises to be a special blend of Middle Eastern heritage meets fire cookery.
Woodfired Canteen’s ‘Woodfired & Friends’ is one of a number of residencies taking place At Home Farm; a new festival season designed to leave you nourished inside and out, featuring intimate outdoor events and residencies based on the Aldenham Estate, a countryside idyll just 13 miles from Marble Arch.
Woodfired Canteen Chef Director and Founder Ben Quinn adds; “Home Farm is a really magical place and we have pulled in an incredible line-up of chefs to create some truly memorable feasts in the wild. I’m really excited to be cooking with Thomasina, Sabrina, Sarit and Itamar – these evenings are just what everyone needs after a tough year – incredible food, good company all in a spectacular setting.”
A homage to the halcyon festival days we have all so sorely missed, At Home Farm will play host to a series of other hand picked partners from May to September including Communion Music, The HandleBards, Rogue Theatre, Mud & Guts, Showtime Circus, Wildfitness and much more! The events will all be held safely outdoors within 150 acres of wild woodland, meadows and private lake on The Aldenham Estate.
