It has become more popular to have couple photography sessions to celebrate a relationship together. Perhaps due to the increase of second relationships after a long-term marriage, these are often not officially tied with a wedding. A couple photography session is a way to make it official without doing all the official paperwork.

These are not like their photography sessions of the past where you just smile cheesily at the camera. It starts with an exploration of your love and what you mean to each other.

We have a Discovery call with each of you and known about the journey together, and then we bring out all those feelings in the photoshoot which is like a date night. No fake smiles, they’re all real reactions to each other that come naturally.

Hotels.com reveals a 55% surge in Paris hotel searches during the NBA Paris Game 2023 Presented by Nike
• French NBA up-and-coming star and Detroit Pistons guard Killian Hayes reveals his top Paris travel tips and his perfect Paris hotel collection, so fans can enjoy a breakfast with a view and stay close to the coolest basketball court in the city
• Hotels.com Travelling Hoops study uncovers that basketball fans would travel on average over 750 miles to watch their favourite team, with 78% of British basketball fans having already travelled to watch a game
• The survey states NBA fans visiting Paris intend to visit the Eiffel Tower, enjoy some French pastries and head to the Parc des Princes stadium
Paris, January 10th January, 2023 – 2023 is tipping off with a bang, as The NBA Paris Game 2023 presented by Nike between the Chicago Bulls and the Detroit Pistons will take place at the Accor Arena on 19 January. Hotels.com, an official travel partner of the NBA, has found that 78%1 of British residents have travelled outside their city before to watch a basketball game, showing the dedication from basketball fans.

This year, as fans hunt out their “perfect somewhere” while on the road, Hotels.com found that there had been a 55%2 spike in hotel searches in Paris for the night of the big game (19th January) compared to the same date the following week. Americans and Koreans lead the international nations booking out the city hotels3.

Those fans who travel for sport
According to the new Hotels.com Travelling Hoops study, basketball fans say they would travel on average over 750 miles to watch their favourite NBA team, with 8% even saying they would travel over 2,000 miles.

Les Bulls, favourite to win?
When it comes to the on-court matchup, British fans are nearly unanimous as almost 80% of fans surveyed think the Bulls will come away with the win. The Bulls also rank as the top NBA team that fans in the UK would travel for to watch, followed by the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks.

When asked what fans would do at a hotel if they met their favourite player, having dinner together (48%), playing a basketball video game in the room (29%), a workout in the hotel gym (26%) and having a sportsman’s breakfast together (26%) topped the list.

Killian Hayes’ perfect Paris Hotel Collection:
Who better than Killian Hayes, the NBA up-and-coming star who grew up in France, to share his best tips with fans who want to (re)discover Paris.

Killian Hayes said: “France is where my career began, and Paris is one of my favourite cities in the world. It really is my perfect somewhere filled with culture, arts, food and history. I have been to Paris too many times to count over the years, but with so much to explore and see, you can just never see it all.

“One of my favourite memories is coming to watch the Christmas lights switch on along the Champs-Élysées — it was magical. My top tip when visiting this spectacular city is to bring a pair of trainers and walk everywhere. There is no better way to get a feel for a city than spending a day walking through the streets and taking in the atmosphere. If you can, take a trip down to the court in Pigalle, it really is a special place. I also love fashion, so I often head to the ‘le Triangle d’Or’ to shop when I visit Paris.

“I’m looking forward to returning to France for The NBA Paris Game 2023 and am hoping to take home a W and lots of new Paris memories.”

Hotels.com has partnered with the Pistons player to release a Paris hotel collection made up of Killian’s “perfect somewheres,” all places he loves for very different reasons and different seasons.

1. Pley Hotel – Killian’s perfect somewhere for a sportsperson’s breakfast
Breakfast is Killian’s favourite meal of the day. This stunning 4-star hotel not only offers a huge breakfast selection but also has a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower, so you can enjoy breakfast with a view of Killian’s favourite Paris attraction. Rooms start at £116* per night.

2. Grand Powers – Killian’s perfect somewhere for a sports massage
After a hard game, there is nothing more soothing than a sports massage. Killian is a fan of both a relaxing spa setting and a deep tissue massage to relieve those aches and pains, and at the Spa Grand Powers, he can enjoy both. This elegant spa is near Killian’s favourite area of Paris, the Champs-Élysées, and features a stunning hot tub, hammam, sauna and even a fully equipped gym. Rooms start at £440p er night.

3. Terras Hotel – Killian’s perfect somewhere near Pigalle
This hotel is just around the corner from the city’s coolest neon basketball court. It is the perfect spot to cool down with a refreshing drink on its rooftop bar after a scrimmage on the court. It’s a bonus that the views are spectacular. Rooms start at £150* per night.

4. Hotel Paradiso – Killian’s perfect somewhere to play video games
Killian is a gamer and each room at this hotel comes complete with a games console, so you can play to your heart’s content. If you really love gaming, opt for Le Loft room as it also has an arcade unit, a foosball table, VR headset and a projector to watch all the sports you love.
Rooms start at £180* per night.

5. Hôtel Parc Saint Séverin – Killian’s perfect somewhere to shop
Killian always likes to look sharp, so this hotel location is a hidden gem, on a quiet side street just minutes from one of the great shopping streets of Paris, Boulevard Saint-Germain. This pretty street is lined with trees and beautiful Parisian buildings, where fans can find a gameday outfit or pop into the NBA store. Fans who love anime, like Killian, can visit the many anime and comic bookstores just off the main boulevard. Rooms start at £214* per night.

While fans cited visiting the Eiffel Tower and sampling some French pastries as the top two activities they would do in Paris, it was followed by visiting the PSG football stadium, which surpassed visiting the Notre Dame, La Louvre and a boat ride up the Seine.

Action on the court and calm at the hotel
When it comes to travel for sport, there exists a different hotel criterion altogether. The most important factor for fans is staying somewhere close to the stadium (35%). This outranked having a comfy bed (33%), a great breakfast buffet (27%) and being near the airport (27%). The basketball mania even goes one step further, with 5% of Brits admitting they would pay more than £1,500 to stay at the same hotel as their team.

While more than a third of British fans surveyed (37%) opt for 4-star hotels above 5-stars, a friend’s house or a hostel, the French prefer to book 3-star hotels (34%). Although comfort is key for the Brits, a surprising 11% said that because the hotel bed has been so comfy, they have previously slept in and missed the game they were there to see.

Download the Hotels.com app to book your own Paris adventure and access hundreds of thousands of amazing properties around the world.

The book is lavishly and beautifully illustrated with original photographs, historic paintings, archival maps
and architectural drawings to create a complete visual record of Eltham Lodge, from its commission by

The lives of the occupants – from the 1st Baronet, financier to the exiled Charles II, through to Kitty

The Seven Destinies of Love takes a psycho-spiritual look at the
developmental stages of learning to love from the womb to the tomb. Each
love destiny is a poetic journey of healing and learning to love ourselves, our
humanity, our connection to the earth, our inextricability from life, our
inclination toward spiritual awakening and our transcendence to death.
Many psychological models help us understand child, human, behavioural,
personal and relational development, but few teach us about the stages of love from birth to death.
Gently guiding us through each destiny, this book teaches about the layers of love within us that need to
be revealed and cultivated in order to improve our relationship to self, others and the universe in every
stage and dimension of our lives. By honouring our ancestral inheritance to the legacy we leave behind,
we discover how to love with purpose and awareness. Such awareness provides a context for connecting
to our personal meaning and experience on earth. Love is the teacher, the lesson and the culmination of a
destiny fulfilled.

Dr Tony Ortega’s debut book, #IsHeHereYet: Being the Person You Want
to Be With is an extremely raw (and funny) look at the perceived epidemic of
being single in our quest for love. It dismantles the notion that there is
something that we need to do in order to bring in “The One.” Instead, it
challenges you to be “The One” and see what shows up then. Regardless of
the outcome, the end result will be the best version of you possible.
This book is geared toward single and partnered people alike. Through personal and professional
accounts of real life situations, as well as thought-expanding exercises and meditation tools, the reader
will leave with a greater understanding and concept of themselves. They will be able to “date themselves”
and create the space to naturally attract loving and authentic relationships.

How far would you go to take revenge?
When Sol Nemo, a rich but mentally-troubled private investigator, learns of
the kidnap of the wife of the man who’s been like a father to him, he
responds instinctively to the call for help. But, unfortunately, Sol’s bargained
without the betrayal of his trust and the life-threatening consequences that
follow.
So begins this intriguing tale of murder and revenge set against the backdrop of South Africa’s breathtaking landscapes and the vibrant cities of Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. Step by step, as the story
unfolds, Sol has to confront a web of deceit and corruption with which he must wrestle; just as he must
wrestle with the crippling anxiety that periodically overwhelms him. And, as if this wasn’t enough, Sol
must also decide his response to his on-off lover’s recent overtures. Is her sudden rekindled interest no
more than the lure of his vast inheritance or does she really wish to cement a long-term future together?
From all this, Sol emerges as a protagonist with many of the doubts and weaknesses that afflict us all but,
in the final reckoning, he too must answer the question: How far will I go to take revenge?

socialist government which swiftly mutates to a British form of totalitarian
Marxism in its quest for social justice and equality. Dominic Green, a Labour
Party activist and celebrity chef, is caught up in the economic and social crisis
as the country lurches towards civil war.
Taunted by the jibes of his volatile Spanish wife, Rosa, he moves from
denial to acceptance to opposition and becomes a totemic media figure in the
struggles. His marriage is in terminal decline; Rosa cannot forgive his philandering or his support of the
government. His family falls apart as Rosa leaves him and one son is incarcerated, whilst the other
attempts to liberate his sibling. Labelled a turncoat terrorist he is hunted by the brutal SNPS state police
whose attempts to subjugate the population includes ‘urban scarecrowing’.

girls – is sent to spy on a non-existent missile test in Cyrenaica. It is intended

A group of British Army and R.A.F. officers, aware of communist traitors in the Civil Service, devise a
deception to draw them from their lairs.
Every subterfuge miscarries. Ingenuity counts for nothing. No one foresees the outcome, yet everyone
ends up with more or less the slice of cake they deserve.

threads go back to wartime Tangier and although living out a life which she neither sought nor enjoys,
tries to lessen the chaos and damage which she is tasked with sowing.

In a small university town in East Germany, during the hard winter of 1955,
a plot emerges – tangled yet uncontrived – to put a lump in your throat.
Told to the author by her grandfather, this is a tale of fear, distrust and
bravery. Threads of doubt and deceit are interwoven with endearing touches of goodness, dry humour
and the bygone patterns of everyday life. Its gravity is simple yet emotional.
Uta, a young police lady, is plucky and right-minded having had fixed on a plan, gives it her best shot.
Isolde, a shy and ingenuous musician, with her patched clothes and innocent ways, submits obediently to
a wrongful death.
The players, inured to hardship and intrigue, are neither deluded nor pretentious. They have simpler and
less hard-to-unravel motives than modern society’s galaxy of posers and dissemblers.
