The Irish Rugby Football Union today (15th Jan) confirmed the ticket prices and kick-off time for the historic RBS 6 Nations Women’s international against Italy in the AVIVA Stadium on the 8th March 2014.

Those in possession of tickets for the men’s game are invited to remain for the women’s game, while tickets exclusively for the women’s fixture will be available from ticketmaster.ie from Monday 20th January, for the usual price of €10 for adults and €5 for children.

The game is scheduled to kick-off 40 minutes after the final whistle of the men’s match (circa 5pm).

To promote the game the IRFU will provide 400 euro to clubs who currently field a women’s team to defray the costs of travelling for the historic match.

IRFU Commercial and Marketing Director Padraig Power said,

“We are delighted to confirm details for the historic RBS 6 Nations Women’s international in the AVIVA Stadium. To ensure that all those who wish to attend the match can do so we will be encouraging ticketholders for the men’s game to get behind the current 6 Nations champions while also releasing tickets exclusively for the women’s game for the usual price of just €10 for adults and €5 for children.

To help women’s teams get behind their representative team we have also put in place a very attractive travel offer to offset the cost of coach-hire, to get to the Aviva and be part of the historic occasion, of up to €400*.”
