The annual Randalstown RFC tournament will take place on the 28th August, with matches commencing at 1pm.

The Randalstown Tournament has been played for more than 25 years and takes place the weekend before the start of the domestic season.

Clubs travel to take part from all over Ulster. The Tournament begins with two leagues and then progress into a semi final and final

The day is billed as fun and while as always the spirit of rugby will remain true to this, there will also be fierce competition on the pitch as this series fo games will mark the first competitive rugby of the season for most of the clubs participating.

This year’s tournament is on the 28th August. All teams are asked to arrive at the clubhouse no later than 12:00 for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff.

We have all been busy getting back into shape and the relative success of each team in this respect will be on display at this tournament.

The teams who do well here, very often carry this momentum into the beginning of the Ulster Rugby Union season.

Teams this year are: Ballymoney, Ballyclare, Ballymena, Carrick,
Civil Service, Holywood, Grosvenor, Ophir, Bangor, and Randalstown
Kick-off is 1pm and final scheduled for about 6pm

Intouch will be attending to capture the action, so we want to see lots of dives in front of the camera!

The spirit of fun will be continued again in true rugby style well into the evening with live music in the club from 5.30-7.30 from Robert de Niro and his One Man Rubber Band!
