Randalstown RFC Pre-Season Notes: Club house maintenance tasks, Presidents golf Day and White Collar Boxing Night!

During the close season Randalstown members have been variously busy with the usual club house maintainence tasks, the Presidents Golf Day and the organisation of a ‘White Collar’ boxing night.
Pre-season training is well underway and will be at Neillsbrook this week. Anyone with an interest in playing rugby whether novice or experienced is more than welcome. Tuesday and Thursday at 7 pm sharp.
A training game has been organised this week at Portadown and it is open to all senior players. For further details contact the coaching team.
The golfers were out at Allen Park last Saturday for the annual President’s Golf Day.
The event was kindly sponsored again this year by George Crawford of Fitness Hire.
Winners on the day were Davy Neill – President’s Cup and Paul Laverty – Paedar Heffron Trophy for the longest drive. Laverty also won the prize for nearest the pin.
Michael Kennedy and Rab Fleck picked up awards in high and low sections respectively.

Now the focus is on the White Collar Boxing Night which will take place on 23rd August at the Clubhouse. Tickets for this event are priced at £15.00 and there are still some available. Contact rrfcmarketing@gmail.com. There will be 10 bouts involving Randalstown and opposition from various clubs around and about.

There will be music by Storm after the main business of the night and of course the bar will be open throughout.
