On Thursday 27th December at Chambers Park Portadown there will be a rugby extravaganza. At 17:45hrs the Under 17s will face an Under 17s select side from Portadown College followed at approximately 19:00hrs by a mini rugby demonstration from the clubs P6 and P7 teams. At 19:30hrs the main event will be the club Under 19s against Portadown College 1st XV. This is an annual Christmas event and the teams compete for the Nesbitt and Doyle cups which are both currently held by the College. Attended by large crowds this event shows the support locally for the future of Portadown RFC and the young guys who give it their all. A superb showcase for rugby, community, family and friendships with loads of festive cheer.
