Canadian Touring Side, Dartmouth Pig Dog Ladies and Men, played what can only be described as a festival of rugby at Dungannon RFC on 23rd May 2010. The scoreline was secondary on all sides to one of the best days out we’ve had at Intouch Rugby!

57 Canadians attended the PigDogs tour here playing games at Carrick RFC, Lismore RFC in Edinburgh, and finishing their games at Dungannon RFC in the fantastic sunshine. Here we bring you the 1st installment, the PgDog Ladies v Queens University Ladies. Queens ladies were unable to field a full 15, and in the spirit of rugby the two sides worked out 2 teams of 10 and played an awesome game of 4 quarters. Hats off to every player who battled valiently scoring memorable tries on both sides. The guys could learn a thing or two about rucking and mauling from these girls and we look forward to hearing how the PigDog ladies perform in their upcoming league.

Well Done to the PigDogs, it is quite a feat to organise a tour of this size, often and in this case taking a few years to co-ordinate. We hope to see many more teams touring these shores. The PigDogs have entertained and delighted the clubs they have visited and with honour and the spirit of great fun rugby, the girls have astounded us all with their very very high standard of rugby.
