Avid Ulster Rugby supporters Long’s Fish and Chips in Belfast.
Once a week even the best athletes are allowed to indulge and what better way to do that than a fish supper or all the delights of the local fish and chip shop.
When it comes to getting the best fish and chips then a visit to Long’s has got to be very high on the list if not the top.
Crispy batter, deep fried chips, peas, salt and viniger. Absolutely gorgeous!
Long’s do it best and the place is not just famous in Belfast. From Holywood stars, to musicians. In fact “Take That” turned up a few years ago as the staff at Longs were closing up. They did not recognise the stars and promptly told them – “sorry we are closed!”
Fortunately Declan and Niall made it in before the 6.30pm closing time and they agreed that it was lovely.

100 Years and still going strong – and the staff are brilliant.
Its just got that traditional no nonsense feel. Lots of Belfast banter.
