These guys delighted the fans along with the rest of the team with powerful, expansive, exciting and open rugby. They are a credit to their school and community and represent the individual player dream of reaching a schools’ cup final and winning the schools’ cup. The significance of this victory cannot be underestimated. The standard of rugby across all levels in Ulster is increasing very quickly. Add into that various law changes and the result is that we are stamping our authority on world rugby so this victory will be noticed by a great number of countries. On the other hand these are young men, very similar to any other who study and pursue careers in many industries so to get their individual reaction is awesome.
