Everyone is backing the Schools’ IRFU Charitable Trust Day – Sat 7th December £1 Donation

Saturday 7th December has been set aside as the IRFU Charitable Trust Day for all schools’ players in the Province.

The players will be asked to donate a minimum of £1.00 to the Charitable Trust, a Trust that does an immense amount of work on behalf of players who have picked up a serious injury.

The IRFU Charitable Trust has been running for 35 years and currently 33 players who suffer from some sort of paralysis are supported throughout Ireland. Of these, 13 are from Ulster. Nine players were injured while at school (five of them from Ulster), including David Ross, a pupil at Wallace High School, who suffered a serious neck injury last season.
