Countryside Services is a wholly owned commercially independent subsidiary of the Ulster Farmers Union.
The Ulster Farmers Union is a membership organisation with over 12,500 members. It is the main agricultural lobbying organisation in Northern Ireland. It has an historic commercial base within the insurance sector on a UK basis. In the late 1980’s it took the decision to create further revenue generating streams.
Countryside Services was established in 1998 to provide a leading range of information, commercial and professional services to the farming and rural community in Northern Ireland.
Since 1998 Countryside Services has developed a deep understanding of farming issues and a trusted relationship with the farming community, providing real support and sustainable solutions for the future of farm families and businesses.
Countryside Services is located on the Moy Road in Dungannon, just off the M1 motorway (exit 15) on the road. It employs 30 full time staff and over 30 associate farm business consultants, mentors, and supply chain development facilitators.

The supply of animal identification products – with facilities in NI and in Barnsley South Yorkshire
The management and delivery of funded programmes and projects including as the Contract Holder NIRDP Axis 1 Measures – (contract scale £30M)
The provision of secretarial and administrative support services to other organisations in the agricultural sector such as AgriSearch.
