From everyone at YMCA RFC & The Wider Rugby Community.

Clarke Simpson was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Glenshane mountain. Clarke has been regular for the YMCA RFC for over 20 years and up until recently was attending training for the new season. A hard tackling centre he has played through all the leagues with YMCA and always held his own.
Popular with his team mates and opposition as well, he will be sadly missed on the field of play. We send our best wishes to Clarke.

He was out of Hospital for a brief visit on Saturday Sat 16th Oct and watched part of the match. Over the next 12 to 18 months he will have various operations and treatments to go through in RVH and Ulster hospitals so we all wish him well for the future. Clarke has many obstacles to overcome in the coming months but with the help of his family and friends we are confident he will achieve his goals.

From YMCA RFC.

Rugby is a brotherhood and we look after our own – wishing you every success in your recovery from InTouch Rugby and everyone in the sport.
