RaboDirect PRO12 Fixture Weekends Announced
Ulster will begin their campaign in the newly-launched RaboDirect PRO12 with a home tie against Glasgow Warriors on the first weekend in September.
Brian McLaughlin’s side, who travel to Aironi in Round 2 the following week, will be determined to improve on last year’s play-off defeat.
The competition will continue through September and early October while the Rugby World Cup is being played in New Zealand, but there will be a two week break after Round 6 (weekend of 7 October) while the semi-finals and final of the global tournament are played.
Then it is back to business on the weekend of 28 October for Rounds 7 and 8 ahead of the opening Pool weekends of the Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup.
