There was a fantastic atmosphere as Cooke RFC Minis travelled to Stormont to take on their counterparts from Civil Service in a series of matches across each age group.

With friends and family cheering them on from the sidelines, the boys and girls from both the mini rugby sections did fantastically and a great day was had by all. The levels of skill and commitment on show were fantastic and the minis provided some great entertainment for all the spectators.

Afterwards player’s coaches and spectators from both sides mingled and refreshments for the players were kindly provided by Civil Service R.F.C.
In Touch Rugby would like to pay tribute to all the coaches from both sides who are unpaid volunteers and give up their time for the love of the game. Mini Rugby is vital to the continued development of Rugby in Ulster.
Civil Service (NI) R.F.C. youth Rugby continues every Saturday 10-11.30 for boys and girls aged 5 and up at the Pavilion Stormont. Next up for the Service minis its Malone away on the 27th November.
