Albeit the competition had a reduced format due to no elite level section following an unusual reduction in teams entering, as far as we know Mengals were the only team to enter! At any rate the finals were awesome, superbly organised by the IRFU and the expansion of Tag continues undeterred with new venues popping up and increased participation levels around the regions.
We’d just like to say we seriously seriously hope that Claire McAteer is still the leader of Tag in Ulster because Claire and her team embody the spirit of rugby a team from whom we have learnt so much and are indebted to for their example.
