Virginia RFC U12 Ladies:

Buoyed by their successful showing in their first ever blitz a fortnight ago, Virginia’s girls travelled to Skerries this weekend, where they were also joined by Ratoath and Dundalk. They stormed through their first game showing great fluency and cohesion, scoring impressively. Their second game provided a sterner test but the girls rallied hard, scoring either side of halftime. The final test of the day was a gruelling encounter in which the girls showed great determination and resilience to share the spoils.

Virginia RFC Minions brave Storm Desmond

On a weekend where very little rugby was played it was left to our U7s, U8s & U9s to fly the flag for Virginia RFC as they travelled to Balbriggan RFC in Co. Dublin for the annual North East Leinster Blitz.

Loads of fun, plenty of tries, and most importantly a lot of chocolate, as well as meeting the great man himself as he limbered up for bigger challenges ahead.

The lads were as ever a credit to themselves and the club, both on and off the field, and if results mattered ran up eight wins and a draw from nine games between them.

A big thank you to the coaches, and Balbriggan RFC for once again hosting such a great event.
