With the Women’s Under 18 Interpros going fully representative in the 2016/17 season, the Ulster Branch were keen to get as many girls playing 15 aside rugby as possible. Giving the girls full league status at Under 18 was always going to be problematic in the first season. There were always going to be mismatches and unfulfilled fixtures
It is to their absolute credit that Enniskillen were prepared to bring 11 young and talented players to fulfil their fixture with the combined Clogher/Armagh Team. The match was played today in very difficult conditions at Clogher Valley. Players were loaned and the game went on. The standard of rugby on display from both teams was exceptional in the conditions with the breakdown being particularly competitive.
