2 teams with ambitions of challenging for the league but in danger of falling behind the early leaders met each other for the second time this season

Monaghan made the trek up to Belfast depleted by injuries and absences but optimistic after a narrow two point win over their hosts in the first match of the season. Service, disappointed at that result had had a dismal start to their previous match against the unbeaten league leaders, BHFP, but their resurgence and effort in the second half had brought back belief and Coach Roy Lawton had impressed upon them the need for a win to stay in the hunt for the league – a win would have seen the gap stretch reasonably beyond the Stormont sides reach………. see more at :-
