Harlequins 4’s progressed into the final of their cup competition after a hard fought victory at Strabane on Saturday. Paul Gardiner playing at scrum half scored 2 tries while a flawless kicking performance saw Mark Scott convert both tries and add 3 penalties. The game was played with an expected intensity and defence proved the difference between the sides with the home side’s backline struggling to deal with the ‘Quins backs counter attacks. The Strabane pack dominated both scrum and lineout but were unable to make their possession count much to the frustration of the local support.
