Fourteen BRFC Rascal families met last Saturday teatime to test their film knowledge and observation skills. Following on from a warm welcome to the club by Mini Convenor, Scott Muir the night began with Rascal Head Coach and question master Gary Donald cranking up the projector.
Dreamworks and Disney, Pixar and Universal all provided clips for the families to be tested on. At half time only a few points separated all the teams ; Rossdale Rascals, Grand Slammers, Team Rogers, “and finally in last place” all were doing well.
After a hearty tea provided by the Ladies Committee, take two began with clips from Star Wars and Dumbo helping to separate the film buffs. Serious competition between We are United and the rest of the field was taking place and as the director shouted “That’s a Take Everyone!” there was nothing between; Give us a Clue, The Knock Ons, Imperial Guards and Dunloy Rugby. A tie break helped finalise 3rd place and Goode Luck took second place. The title of Rascal family film buffs 2010 however went to Around the Ragged Rocks the Rascals Ran.
Well done to all the teams for taking the Screen Test!
