Whether you’re playing rugby, cricket or sparring, you always have to make sure that you protect your body from dangerous blows. Shock Doctor specialises in technological advances to create protective sports equipment for athletes making sure that you are always safe.

Jamie Mcfarland from Dromore RFC recently tested out the products below:

Here is what he thought:

“I liked all 3 products that I got to test.

Gel Max Mouthguard – It took me a while to get it fitted right, just getting it feeling right in the mouth with the slightly stiffer part at the front, but once i got past this it was very comfortable to wear.

Reflex Ultra Shorts – The shorts themselves are comfortable to wear, and the additional protection offered is noticed, i haven’t had as many dead legs due to the padding.

Ultra Supporter with Ultra Carbon Flex Cup – this product I was very interested to test as I in the game i felt a few times that one could have been beneficial. It took a bit of getting used to, but after that it was comfortable to wear.”
