When did rugby start for you: 1st Year @ Cambridge House. I was a prop from the start, and occasionally played 2nd row.

What is a memorable moment:

Has to ba a 10 metre drive against UUC RFC that led to a try. I will never forget moments like that. The feeling is immense.

What does it feel like to prop:

Prop is part & parcel of the pack. I feel like i’m right in at the engine of the pack. Its high pressure and high intensity, it hurts, and their is alot of concentration required to mantain the correct body position, keeping tight in the scrum and driving together as one unit.

Thoughts on the role of prop:

The scrum is not a time to relax, our main job is to win the set piece. This is something I have learned more about every season through school and now into senior rugby.

Who is the biggest messer in Randalstown RFC: – Its Neil Foster Club Captain lol – he’s always got rediculous new stories every week.

Shaved or unshaved: – Shaved

Beer Wines Of Spirits: Beer.

Why do you play rugby: Rugby is great stress relief and the perfect sport for the weekend. The role of prop is now very important and one of the biggest responsibilities on the pitch. Its a hard physical contest with your opposite number and it is an honour to play the position and be able to be involved in all aspects of forward work wether that be in loose play or right in the front row.
