THE PRESIDENT COMES TO ARMAGH

Saturday afternoon sees the President of the Irish Rugby Football Union, Pat Fitzgerald, attend the pre-match lunch prior to the All-Ireland league fixture with Boyne RFC.
Kildare born Pat is the current president and hails from Longford RFC where he had a distinguished playing career as a scrum-half/centre. He has served on the marketing committee and recently has brought a new dimension and unprecedented success in terms of sponsorships and revenues generated for the union.
Also in attendance will be the British and Irish Lions star, Tommy Bowe, who recently returned to the ranks of Ulster rugby from the Welsh Ospreys. Unfortunately Tommy is currently on the sidelines due to an injury but, no doubt, he will be able to keep the guests more than well informed following Ulster’s brilliant win in Leicester on Saturday in the Heineken Cup!
Tickets (£20-00) for the lunch are limited but a limited number can still be sourced by texting a request to 07771 578471.
