What a pleasure to see a bunch of guys sticking together in friendship through thick and thin and meeting up to play a game of rugby. Perhaps the finest “Oldies” team in the world playing a considerable amount of games and supported throughout rugby circles for embodying the rugby spirit. As an example Rab Irwin was going to the game to take pictures and then got a call during the week to call him into the squad. Without hesitation plans were changed and Rab marshalled Marty Gleeson to take the pictures from the sidelines. It is something to be very proud of that the teams included former Ulster Ireland and Babas players such as Rab & Mo amongst other truly great rugby players.
