1st XV continue their winning ways at Ballymoney Ballymoney 0 – Instonians 13
Instonians resumed their league campaign by making the journey to Ballymoney on a dark, dank day. In truth it was a gloomy enough game. Instonians were not at their best. They lacked urgency and at times lost direction.
They started well enough. Within 20 seconds Ballymoney were penalised and Instonians kicked for the corner. In the first 5 minutes Ballymoney were penalised a further three times, all within their 22 metre area, but it was not until the third penalty that Instonians went ahead. Fraser Wright converted a simple enough kick in front of the posts and about 17 metres out.
