Talk about talent! A fantastic performance by both sides.
3 25 minute periods of quality rugby, showing a very bright future for all the young men involved. Individual skills and excellent team work provided a lot of spectators with a brilliant game to watch. Lots of phase building from both sides and the ability to create space and build pressure.
Development of rugby through the age groups is something that all clubs put a lot of effort into and the future is bright on watching todays battle.
Malone started at a blistering pace and blew the opposition out of the water with several scores although the RDS team did score immediately after the 1st Malone try. The RDS East guys kept their nerve and began to get back into the game.
Much of the game was end to end stuff and the excellent conditions allowed for the full repertoire of running, kicking, slick passing and off loads, rucking and mauling to emerge in a game that had it all.
Well done lads you put on a great show and did your clubs proud!
