Malone hosted the Students of Terenure College on a cold and wintry day at Gibson Park.
The students played a very spirited and workman like game and ran our winners by 29-16.
All Malones points came in the opening half, a try from winger concede Barker and the remainder from the boot of Josh Pentland. Terenure scored three tries and two conversions to leave them ahead by 19-16.

However the second half saw Malone unable to add to their points tally, and who were forced to a further 10 points to give the visitors a winning result and a try scoring bonus point to boot.
Malone now slip to ninth place in the AIL 2 league table.
