Luke Dalton, Fahan, Co. Donegal (second row and loose forward) went through two trials and a training camp before being selected for the student Irish squad. He is be part of the 23 man travelling squad from which a 13 man team will be selected. Luke is a past pupil of Scoil Íosagain and Crana College in Buncrana and has just concluded three years of studying towards a BSc (Hons) Sports Studies degree at the University of Glamorgan, Wales. Luke was directed towards the Ireland trials while playing for the University’s rugby league 1st team. Luke has also played for Donegal, City of Derry RFC and Inishowen RFC.
