Lose the Jack with Jabra Rox™ Wireless

27th May 2014 – Jabra today announces availability of the new Rox™ Wireless earbuds in the UK. Recently selected as a 2014 CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards Honouree, the new Jabra Rox™ earbuds are the ideal wireless accessory for those on-the-go users who demand usability, durability and performance.

Every single detail was considered when designing Rox, with each part of the earbuds serving a specific purpose. Only the finest materials – including stainless steel – have been used to ensure they can withstand life on the go.

The Rox sculptured, low-profile design is based on musicians’ in-ear monitors for maximum bass response. Users don’t have to lose the looks or fit of current corded earbuds; Rox’s comfortable, low profile fit sits tight and when users are ultra-active it has optional EarWings™ to lock them in. Its unique design allows for powerful speakers that deliver truly remarkable sound, in rich Dolby® stereo. But that’s not all:

  • They’re easy to connect wirelessly, either via Bluetooth® or tap to pair using NFC.
  • They’re IP52 certified, which protects against dust and water.
  • They have a playback time of up to 5.5 hours and in-line controls so users can keep them in a phone or pocket.
  • The earbuds have exclusive built-in power-saving magnets. Users can clip them together and hang them around their neck or throw them in your bag. The magnets will automatically activate power-saving mode.

Additionally, to enrich the listening experience even further, Jabra includes its exclusive Jabra Sound App, which now has the new YouTube streaming option so music on the device, as well as streamed YouTube content, can be played in full-spectrum Dolby Digital Plus sound.

The Rox™ Wireless earbuds are available for £99.99 in the Apple UK online store.
