Following on from last weeks hughely successful session coach Alasdair McKee held session 2 at Cooke Rugby Club last night and an excellent turnout of players travelled from far and wide to attend. With Ulster Rugby Clubs on the up all over the province most obvious at the AIL Level where we get to compete with clubs from outside Ulster the standard at JNR level has improved at a breakneck pace making our JNR club players the best in Ireland and JNR Ulster is the ultimate opportunity to stamp our authority on the other privinces.

The honour of wearing the Ulster Rugby jersey at this level is the pinacle and part of the backbone of rugby. We caught up with Alasdair last week and his interview is repeated below as the mission and intent is the same no matter where he hears a recommendation. Coaches from all over are keeping him regularly up to date with lists of potentials and he is totally focused on putting together a provinical side to be proud of.

We managed to get some snaps of the guys training last night. To see them click HERE (our thanks to rugby fanatic, x player and photogrpaher Daron Patterson for the pictures and interview). Together and working selflessley as a team everything is possible. The JNR Ulster Rugby coach comment is below
