On a beautiful sunny afternoon the Instonians 1st XV and support descended upon Upritchard Park in Bangor eager to see a repeat performance from the week before against Portadown RFC. Nerves were apparent before the game again, as the 1st XV knew that their win at home last week would count for nothing if it wasn’t backed up by a good performance a week later. A number of selection changes we evident for the second week of competitive fixtures, with Fraser Wright coming into Out Half, David Scott being promoted from the bench to start at Inside Centre, with Robbie Martin shifting to fullback. – See more at:

2nd XV lose 23-33 home to Larne 2nd XV Man Of The Match: Ross O’Donnell.

An Instonians 3rd XV of Old & Young came up against a bigger Randalstown 2nd XV. Great effort throughout but penalty count must be addressed.
