Instonians host Parity Professionals U20’s Easter tournament

Instonians RFC will host its traditional U20s Rugby Tournament on Monday 28th March 2016 at Shaw’s Bridge.

The 15-a-side tournament brings young players together, encouraging open, enterprising and enjoyable rugby fun for all.

Speaking about the event, tournament organiser Gordon Keane said:

“It’s always a very keenly contested competition with old friends and rivals from school, club and University reuniting for an intensely competitive series of games to see who will win the Parity Professional U20s Tournament for the prestigious Goldsborough Trophy.”

The tournament normally consists of eight teams, organised in two leagues with league winners and runners up playing in semi-finals. Teams already confirmed include Instonians, Ballymena, Belfast Harlequins, Armagh, Belfast Met, Ards, Lisburn and Queen’s.

The first matches kick off at 14.00 on Monday 28th March with the final scheduled for 18:15pm. All spectators are welcome.
