Boasting full motion-controlled support and complete optical body tracking with PlayStation®Move and the Kinect™ for Xbox 360 sensor, players can train alongside their sports heroes with over 400 exercises dedicated to optimising fitness levels for particular sports activities and add their achievements in the game to their existing miCoach exercise regime. PlayStation®3 users can also benefit from full USB heart rate monitor support for a truly complete picture of their performance.

We asked Ma’a Nonu to get involved in a Q&A on his character in the game and what its like to play………..

Q – Have You Played the Game?

A- Yeah I’ve played it, pretty cool, great just to have a work out in the living room and even cool to get the family involved

Q – Did you train with yourself?

A- C’mon I see myself all the time. It was more fun to train with all the other athletes like Ana Ivanovic, Kaka and some of the American football players.

Q – Who is fitter you or your game you?

A- Definitely my gaming self, no question… He’s a tough trainer!

Q – What Do You Think Of It?

A- I think it’s a great concept and game, the simulation is pretty cool and one really feels like you are working out right next to the athlete, I also like the way its sports specific and you can train with your favorite athletes or for your specifc sport, I even had a training session will – Will Genia the other day!!!

Q – Is It Accurate?

A- I’m no expert, but yes it certainly seems to be pretty spot on. I know a lot of the movements and exercises I did definitely came up in some of my team trainings…

Q – Will it help people play better rugby, or the public get fitter?

A- There’s a lot to playing better rugby skills are one side, being fit is the other, and it will certainly help them get fit which in turn will make them better on the paddock. And for the public, I think it does help them in reaching their fitness goals. That’s what I like about it, you can train as hard as you want, for the sport that you want or just to be fit… it works for me and it can work for you even though we’re looking for different things in our training.

Big thanks to Ma’a Nonu for this Q&A on miCoach a superb game.
