It has been a very disappointing pre-season for Enniskillen after the club experienced a number of cry-offs by their opponents, so it has been a far from ideal preparation for the new season, which kicks off at home to Bangor this Saturday.

It will be a tough start against a Bangor side that had been rebuilding during the off season following relegation from Section One last season, but ‘Skins do have memories of last season’s Town’s Cup victory in Bangor, against a side that was once a powerhouse in Ulster and indeed Irish rugby circles.

The club are looking to get the season off with a bang and Saturday will also see a friendly for the 3rd XV with Virigina the visitors. In addition to the now traditional pre-match corporate lunch the club have organised a fun day with a Bar-b-q, Bouncy Castle and Face-painting for kids and post-game entertainment in the clubhouse, so come along and support the club. Everyone is a welcome, especially any potential newcomers to the game and the club and admission is free.

The full fixture schedule is available on the club’s website, www.enniskillenrfc.com, just visit the fixtures and reports page.
