Rugby specialist and kit provider Canterbury has revealed the new 2018/2019 England Rugby training kit range. The new training kit will be worn by England men’s and women’s players, coaches and team management, as they prepare for the Quilter Internationals in November 2018.

To celebrate the launch of the new kit and the recently re-opened England Rugby Store, competition winners and fans have been invited to an event at Twickenham Stadium this evening, where they will be the first to receive the new Canterbury training kit, meet England players Dylan Hartley and Abbie Scott, and take part in a Fit for Rugby training session pitch-side.

Featuring an anthracite and oyster grey visually impactful design, the first instalment of the training range consists of performance apparel and accessories including tees, shorts, a singlet and backpack. Further additions to the range are due to launch over the coming months for all weather conditions.

Recognising the demands attributed to the game of rugby Canterbury has designed a training range which puts form, function and fit first. The new kit features pioneering technology VapoDri, which is designed to wick moisture away from the body and maintain core temperature – allowing the wearer to train harder for longer.

Commenting on the launch of the new range, Simon Rowe, Head of Sports Marketing at Canterbury of New Zealand, said: “It is our strong belief that through carefully considered kit design we have the ability to elevate the athletes, further strengthening performance of both the individual and the team. We strive to continually innovate and evolve and are very proud to reveal the latest England Rugby training range, which we feel reflects that performance and comfort is at the heart of what we do.”

England captain and Canterbury ambassador, Dylan Hartley commented “As a team, we put everything into training for the game and our dedication is reflected on the field. We rely on the kit to aid that performance and so it’s great to see Canterbury’s commitment to comfort and advanced technology in the new training range.”

The training kit reveal coincides with the launch of the latest brand campaign for Canterbury, ‘Own The Unexpected’ which is inspired by the England team’s training techniques which enable the players to tackle the unexpected head on during the game, using unstructured play to deliver their best performance on match day.

The new England Rugby training kit is available to buy from Monday 23rd July in sizes S-4XL at www.canterbury.com and www.englandrugbystore.com
