Valley U15 ladies get revenge on Dungannon neighbours
Clogher Valley ladies U15 team got revenge on Dungannon with a comfortable 31-0 victory at the Cran. The home side ran in 5 tries with 3 conversions. Valley U18 beat Lisburn by over 50 points
Clogher Valley U18 bounce back from last weeks defeat at Ballynahinch with a superb display of running rugby, with Dale Hall scoring what must be a club record of 5 tries.
The Valley started well, putting the visitors under pressure at the break down. A scrum 10 meters from the Lisburn try line, gave Dale Hall the opportunity to break and drive the 10 meters to open the scoring. Lisburn bounced back and put the home side under pressure 5 meters from their try line. A clearance kick was charged down giving the Lisburn forward the chance to equal the scoring. The try was converted to give the visitors the lead 7-5. Valley came straight back and with a series of pick and go from the base of the ruck kept the visitors pinned down in their own 22. The ball was thrown wide and the ever improving Shane Mahoney went past two Lisburn defenders to put the ball down in the corner.
