Day 3 of the Carrick 7s and day 3 of sunshine from dawn till dusk. The annual ladies 10s tournament was today and the ladies played a kinock out tournament to decide the winner.
Teams taking part were: Cooke, Harlequins Barbarians, Queens, Ballymoney, City Of Derry, Enniskillen, Belfast Harlequins, Carrickfergus, Queens & City Of Derry.
Excellent standard throughout Cooke ran out the overall Cup Winners in a fiercely contested final with Quins & City Of Derry took the Bowl.
Running rugby was the order of the day and we witnessed the best sides in Ulster with some players showing the skills that we hope will take them all the way.
Played in the good spirit of rugby these friends from all over Ulster entertained the excellent crowd and showed what a good position Ulster Ladies Rugby is in.
Congratulations to one and all and apologies to Queens because between myself and David we did not get you a team shot. If anyone has please sned it in.
