About Us
Capper Trading Ltd was founded over 40 years ago by its current Managing Director, Robert Capper. Capper Trading Ltd has its roots in the transportation of animal bulk feeds and Robert has successfully managed its diversification into the provision of bedding, animal feeds and home heating oil and coal. Capper Trading consists of five divisions; Capper Fuel, Capper Transport, Capper Animal Feed, Capper Animal Bedding and Capper Farm.
Capper Fuel
Capper Fuels is your local home heating oil and agri-diesel distributor providing top quality oil at competitive prices, and because we operate under the government approved metered ticket scheme you can be sure that what you order is what is delivered.
We also provide a broad range of own-brand quality coal products either delivered direct to your door or collected from our cash and carry outlet, and because we import, screen and bag the coal on-site, we guarantee top quality products at wholesale prices to suit all fires. Our coal products are complemented by our range of quality fire accessories which have been sourced with you in mind.
Capper Transport
Capper Transport has a reputation for delivering the highest quality service at competitive prices to its customers’ right across the UK and Ireland. We are dedicated to serving the agriculture sector and have invested in a state-of-the-art fleet of more than 30 vehicles and 60 trailers.
Capper Animal Feed
Capper Animal Feed has a reputation for delivering the highest quality products at competitive prices to its customers’ throughout the island of Ireland. We manufacture a wide range of ruminant animal feeds, specialising in coarse rations for beef and sheep. Our unique blends are specially developed to meet the needs of animals at every stage in their development. Alternatively, we have the flexibility to develop individual blends to meet our customers’ specific needs.
Capper Animal Bedding
Capper Animal Bedding also boasts a fully computerised bedding production plant producing a top quality range of bedding products for equestrian and farming purposes using traditional milled wheat straw instead of wood shavings. Locally sourced wheat straw is used making it a more comfortable bedding product and ideally suited for composting after use.
We also offer a unique premium range of eucalyptus scented straw specifically blended for the equestrian market. The wheat straw is a naturally low moisture product which when manufactured is much more efficient and requires less frequent changing. And whether you’re an individual who owns one pony or you run a stud then this super absorbent range will ensure maximum comfort for your animals.
