An absolutely ferocious game. Belfast Harlequins were playing against a side who had more firepower and were probably the favourites for this training game from the kick off. That is exactly what the harlequins relished about this encounter! Everyone of them fronted up against bigger players and took the hits and put the hits in. Not once was their a break down in teamwork. Not once was there frustration or division appearing amongst the quins players. They remianed throughout 20 minute periods resolute in their belief in themselves and their superb brand of rugby. Even in the dying seconds they were encamped on the Ballina 5 metre line and the zeal of the pure love of the game emblazened across their faces. Awesome game. It was meant to be 3 20 minute quarters but we believe it was Quins who may have suggested a fourth quarter. Who ever had the idea of a fourth this Belfast Harlequins v Ballina game was excellent. And full respect to Ballina on a very good side.
