Donaghadee 2nd XV welcomed the 3s/4s squad to Donaldson Park on a bright still Friday evening.

The squad recovering from the summer transfers of Naul Mullen and Colm O’Hagan soon realised that after a hard recruitment effort that life goes on and teams get better
Evening kick offs are always tricky due to travel and work issues and luckily everyone made it to Donaghadee in time for kick off.

The prematch team talk revolved around the quality of Michael Bradford’s cookies and the price of socks on the internet in comparison to when they are in front of you.

The game started with the usual frenzy with the visiting side bossing the game and recycling wonderful ball. Line outs worked despite the efforts of distraction of the vociferous Donaghadee forwards to put off the dart thrower.
