Action from the first half of Bangor’s Kukri QL1 evening midweek game at Upritchard Park between Bangor and Ballymoney shows the Bangor pack pressing hard near the Ballymoney goal line. In a very competitive game, Ballymoney took an eighth minute lead with a penalty goal. The visitors looked dangerous on the break, but it took until the thirtieth minute for Ballymoney to cross the line, and they did so minutes later with a second try to extend their lead to 17-0. A late third try by the visitors took the half time score to 22-0. The second half remained scoreless until Rob McCausland was put in for a try from close in with ten minutes remaining. A late Ballymoney penalty goal left the final score 25-5 to the visitors. Bangor’s final game in Kukri QL1 this season is away to Limavady on Saturday 23rd April. All support welcome!
