Fair play to the Rabbitohs. Professional, organised, and superb players they were awesome in attack and defense. The cowboys were good but from this side of the game its fair to say the Rabbittohs were big time dissapointed because they were the better side. To a man, against some fairly big guys we fronted up, stood up and after going behind in the first half with the sun in their eyes the Rabbitohs came out in the second hand with sustained and superb rugby league. The sun made no difference to the tempo which is a credit to every athlete on the field but it made for some great opportunities for the camera.
What a way we have come. From being 3rd in Ireland as a province to number one and still not satisfied with losing the clubs final. This time last year we would have been walking away from that clubs final thinking that we could hold our heads high and maybe next year move forward one more step. Instead we know we are playing the cutting edge league in Ireland and this is only the beginning. Its been the most successful season in the history of Ulster Rugby League and next year is gonna be awesome.

To see Daryl Rooney (Ballynahinch Rabbitohs) awarded Man Of The Match was a superb moment, he was literally a player who with every game is bursting out of the tackles and developing an edge all the time which is leaving the opposition busted. The same can be said of every Ulster Rugby League player there is.
We play with pride, we play with passion, we defeat our fear and hit everything in front of us with the joy of rugby and its a thrilling spectacle for everyone concerned.
