The jaunt to Ballymena Rugby club was pleasant and the KO at 2pm allowed everyone to recover somewhat from the New Years Eve celebrations.
Celebrating rugby was the order of the day as Cambridge House Old Boys played Ballymena Academy Old Boys in what will hopefully become an annual event.
The rugby was champagne (mostly) free flowing, very little kicking and instead a real willingness to play. Fun and lots of tries, attempted drop goals, impossible passes that actually came good. Brilliant stuff.
Most of the guys play together at Ballymena Rugby Club and so it was no surprise that the game was so entertaining.
