As we enter nearly a week of normal temperatures, the rugby season is just about to kick into full swing and what a few months to look forward to.
No better way to spend a few hours than a trip to the local rugby school on a Saturday morning to enjoy what is high level rugby.
As the referee for this game mentions the speed of a schools game is awesome and these two teams are amongst the best.

We managed to cover the first 20 minutes of we think the III XVs in what was an entertaining spectacle of two sides that can play having a go, well done lads you can see the pictures on the following link and video clip of a conversion below

Methody I XV v RS Armagh

What can we say, a dogged performance by both sides. Methody emerged the victors by a few scores but at times RS Armagh threatened to win the game. Much of the game was played in the middle of the park, but Methody did produce more meaningful attacks and benefited from this. Go forward play is the name of the game and when both teams got their shape together they consistently scored and threatened the opposition.

Both teams defended well.

The roller coaster of schools rugby in all three competitions is about to get really serious over the next month and as the seeded teams begin to get close to real competition time the new up and coming teams will make for some serious battles ahead.

It will be very interesting to watch the progression of both sides from today – bring on the games, can’t wait!
