Sports Rehab Ireland was officially opened by Darren Cave in Fitness First Connswater Belfast. Sports Rehab Ireland is Belfast’s newest sports injury clinic and only Sports Therapy clinic dedicated to the prevention and rehabilitation of Sports Injuries.
The clinic was the idea of Andrew Newberry a Sports Therapist and member of the Society of Sports Therapists and of The British Association of Sports & Exercise Scientist. Andrew has previous experience working with Professional Rugby League, Football and with Elite International Athletes in England and Ireland.
Sports Therapy is based in the principles of Sports & Exercise Science and utilises evidence based practice to assist in the assessment and treatment of sports injuries. Sports Therapy plays a role in closing the gap that exists between completion of rehabilitation and return to sport and provide seamless integration from stage of initial injury through to a return to competitive action whether your a weekend warrior or elite performer.
