The view from the sidelines can be cold and wet during a game of rugby with spectators decked out in all the latest coats and boots, even welli boots as we make our way between the 1sts game the seconds, youth games and all the rugby that takes place. Umbrellas, boots, water proof leggings and coats are a must for the grass roots rugby supporter.

We recently decided to invest in some wet gear and found Joseph Braddell & sons to be excellent to deal with.

They have been in the business of keeping fishermen up to date with the latest tackle and have been keeping them dry at the same time.
We decided that since they are experts in keeping dry for fishing then the keeping us dry while we take photos would be easy.

Turns out that was exactly the case and we are delighted with the kit from Braddells; and it was very reasonably priced!

They have been selling fieldsports equipment for almost 200 years. Braddell’s was founded in 1811 when Joseph Braddell and his son came to Belfast from County Donegal. They established a business for the manufacture and retail of general sports and fieldsports equipment, including guns, fishing tackle and golf clubs. The fieldsports section separated from the general sports in 1915.
