InTouch Rugby Recommends: ANGUS FARM SHOP: ITS DELICIOUS!!!!

After a scenic drive along the Co down coast from Bangor to Groomsport then donaghhadee and over to Ballywalter it will now be a firm favourite with InTouch to make a stop at Angus Farm Shop in Greyabbey just a few miles from Donaghadee.

Not only is the rugby tradition written into this family run shop but the proprietor Noel Angus (pictures) plays for Donaghadee and with farming and livestock in the family it is understandable that he is a front rower.

The shop is inded set in idyllic surroundings and the ethos is local produce from their home produced award winning pork and honey sausages to the jams and breads the feel of the shop is excellent. A very wide range of top quality produce is on offer with particular excellence in the quality of their meats.

So we tried the pork and honey sausages which were chosen as the top produce in the Ulster Pork & Bacon forums awards. Simply gorgeous!!!!

Many Thanks to Noel and the team for keeping us all well stocked with lovely produce offered.

For any rugby enthusiasts who have been dragged along the coast for a drive because the rugby is over for the season you can console yourself with a visit to Angus Farm Shop where you will here all the news on local rugby and can prepare for the new season with their really lovely farm shop produce.

My preparations for the new season have already gone a bit too far as a pound of pork sausages in one sitting is perhaps too much but we can tell you those award winning Pork & Honey sausages where delicious!
