Ballynahinch RFC Notes I XV 18 v Garryowen RFC I XV 6 AWESOME!

Ballynahinch managed to secure their first victory in Division 1A in what turned out to be a tense fought encounter with Garryowen at Ballymacarn Park.
Hinch played towards the clubhouse in the first half, but it was the visitors from Limerick who made the better start, a scrum infringement gifting a penalty which out half Jamie Gavin converted, sending the Munster men 3 points clear after just 3 minutes.
Hinch responded well, in the 5th minute a great break by Hinch fullback David McIlwaine almost put Ross Adair in at the corner, but the final pass was spilled with the line just metres away…… for the full story click HERE
