Tracklements NEW Special Edition Shallot & Garlic Jam is rich, savoury, and subtly sweet with a gentle chilli warmth. This delectable jam layers deep umami flavour from slow-cooked shallots and mellow garlic purée. Raw cane sugar and balsamic vinegar bring a sticky, caramelised depth, while cider vinegar adds a tasty touch of acidity. A delicate hint of red chilli gives just enough heat to keep things interesting, balanced by a whisper of sea salt and black pepper for a well-rounded finish.
A generous serving over meat and veggie burgers, steaks, chops, or halloumi gives an instant gourmet flair. A chicken breast stuffed with a loaded teaspoon of Shallot & Garlic Jam along with cream cheese and fresh herbs, wrapped in Parma ham, and baked in the oven for 20 mins on 180oC, makes a marvellous midweek meal.
